Iftar Dinner

Our Turkish/American brothers and sisters from the Silver Sage Foundation again have invited RFUMC to host an Iftar Dinner during Ramadan. We will join together to break the daily Ramadan fast, with SSF members providing all food and drinks. We provide the facility and help with setup/cleanup. Friends from the Interfaith Council will also attend.

Iftar is the fast-breaking meal observed each evening at sundown during the holy month of Ramadan. The Interfaith Iftar Dinner provides an opportunity for the entire community to join our Muslim friends in breaking their Ramadan fast. The event includes a traditional Middle Eastern-Turkish meal, along with presentations by community peacemakers.
