A pulsating glow streaks across the night sky — a trail of neon green shimmer, perhaps a shooting star… or maybe something far more festive! Could it be Santa’s sleigh upgraded to a 1950s Woody, decked out in dazzling lights and packed with gifts of music and cheer? Listen closer… those aren’t reindeer hooves — it’s the ringing of bronze bells echoing joy through the winter air!

As the holidays approach, the air fills with familiar melodies that awaken treasured memories. The pealing of bells, the glistening of silver, the warmth of community song — these sounds tell stories that bind us together through the season. “Carol of the Bells,” originally composed by Mykola Leontovych, captures this very spirit: the joy, the anticipation, and the togetherness that define our holiday traditions.

This year, Tintabulations Handbell Ensemble invites you to experience Carols of the Bell — an exuberant holiday concert exploring the meaning behind our favorite carols and the stories they tell.
